Moore Regional Hospital

FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital is licensed for 400 beds, is an acute care, not-for-profit hospital that serves as the referral center for a 15-county region in the Carolinas. With an active Medical Staff of 160 physicians (10% comprised by the ED staff), a professional staff of more than 2,600, and more than 725 volunteers, the hospital has many sophisticated medical capabilities usually found only in much larger metropolitan areas, including: Behavioral Services, Cardiovascular Services, Emergency/Convenient Care Services, Medical Services, Neuroscience Services, Oncology Services, Orthopedic Services, Rehabilitation Services, Surgical Services, Women and Children Services.

Convenient Care provides urgent care services next to the ED for 12 hours/day. Coverage is provided by physician assistants.  A new, state of the art 25,000 sq. foot ED was completed in 2000. A comprehensive computerized ED information system is in place complementing a digital PAC radiology system.

Licensed for 88 beds, FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital has served the emergency, outpatient, and acute care needs of the people of Montgomery County and the surrounding area for nearly 50 years. In addition to traditional health services, including a 37-bed primary care hospital and Emergency Department with 24-hour in-house physician coverage; Montgomery Memorial Hospital also offers an on-site long-term care facility with 51 beds and access to specialty services through the FirstHealth network.
