Certification:
Ronald Milewski MD, is founder and President of Sandhills Emergency Physicians, P.A. a group of 16 board certified emergency physicians, and a member of the group since 1991.He has held the office of Region H Medical Director for EMS and fostered establishment of a countywide Paramedic program by voter referendum. Ron serves as the present Moore County EMS Director. He has served as President of the Medical staff at Moore Regional Hospital and is presently a board member of the Mid-Carolina Physician’s Organization. He serves as the Department Chairman at Moore Regional Hospital.Recently, he has been engaged in the design of a new Emergency Department for 1999.Ron has co-authored the Documentation Field Guide published by Jones and Bartlett for EMS utilization. He has consulted nationwide as the Emergency Physician Consultant for VHA, Inc. with areas of expertise including:

Process Design

Ron has extensive experience and continues to work a full clinical complement in addition to his duties as director. He has recertified as a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Extensive involvement with the American College of Physician Executives has provided a broad background of experience.
